Chapter III – The Characters of Nala & Chris's House
Each member of this family has their own story, passions, and little quirks.
That's what makes their everyday life so endearing—a mix of laughter, tenderness, and a touch of joyful chaos.
Nala
Children's book writer. Gentle and composed, but deep down, a femme fatale at heart.
An attentive, patient mother who always listens, she loves her job and finds balance between creating and spending time with her children.
Her passions: gardening, baking, and sewing.
Every evening, she loves reading stories to her children, with that soft voice that soothes them before sleep.
She is also a dreamer—one who still believes in fairy tales.
Chris
A military man by trade, Chris was away for a long time, but since his return, he savors every moment with his family.
He is a present and protective dad, always ready to play soccer with the girls or fire up the grill as soon as the sun shines.
He won Nala over one evening in a small bar: she saw him playing the piano, lost in the music. That moment changed everything.
Rachel (9 years old)
A calm and dreamy little girl, Rachel loves reading, drawing, and helping Nala in the kitchen.
She is passionate about classical ballet, Sailor Moon, and loves dressing up for Halloween.
Always with a book or sketchbook in hand, she has that responsible mini-adult side, even if her laugh remains that of a child.
She lovingly takes care of her hamsters, whom she considers true secret-keeping companions.
Vanilla (3 years old)
Little pink tornado, Vanilla loves bunnies, glitter, and cuddles.
She spends hours in her room playing, making up stories, and "helping" Nala with the twins.
She is a caring big sister, but always up for some mischief with Zoé.
Nothing makes her happier than a tasty snack and a moment of bonding with mom.
Zoé
Playful, lively, a little mischievous—Zoé is the ball of energy in the house.
Always ready to get up to all sorts of tricks, she loves Christmas, candy, chocolate, and all the stuffed animals in the world (especially elephants?).
Her laugh is contagious, and even if she drives everyone crazy, it's impossible not to love her.
The newest members of the family: a duo of babies as joyful as they are inseparable.Their smiles light up the house.
Always nestled against each other, they bring a new sweetness to the daily life of Nala and Chris.
Even Zoé becomes well-behaved when they sleep… or almost.
The dogs: Vanille, Texas, Tisha & Caramel
The family wouldn't be complete without them.
Vanille, the eldest, is Nala's faithful companion — she follows her everywhere and watches over the twins like another mom.
Texas, the dad, is a sweet old soul: first to settle in front of the fireplace as soon as it gets cold.
And their little ones, Tisha and Caramel, inseparable, follow Zoé in all her adventures… and mischief!
