Today, I’d like to introduce you to a new character who will gradually find his place in my world: Éric.
Eric is one of Chris's oldest friends. Their friendship dates back several years, to when they did their military service together.
At that time, they already shared a common passion: music.
However, when their engagement ended, their paths took very different directions.
Chris chose to continue his career in the military while still playing music whenever he could. A few years later, when he decided to build a life with Nala, he finally left the military to devote himself entirely to his passion and his musical career.
Éric, on the other hand, has never been able to find his path so easily.
After leaving the military, he chose to follow his instincts rather than a well-defined career path.
He traveled, tried his hand at all sorts of things, and took on one odd job after another without ever really settling down anywhere.
Waiter, warehouse worker, sales clerk, bartender… he’s tried a lot of different jobs without ever feeling like he’d found his place.
Today, he works at a bar where he enjoys the atmosphere and the freedom.
But his true passion remains music.
An amateur guitarist all his life, he spends his free time playing, composing, and dreaming of a different life, without ever having dared to take the first step.
Behind his calm and sometimes distant demeanor, however, lies someone who is deeply loyal and always ready to help those he cares about.
Now that he’s almost thirty, Éric is starting to wonder if it might be time to build something more lasting.
But to do that, he still needs that one little spark that can change a life.
