After a concert with her band, Madison decides to wrap up the evening at a small bar where the musicians are regulars. There, she runs into Raven, who’s already settled in with a drink after a long day at the Tattoo Design Studio.

Behind the counter, Éric is finishing his shift.

A longtime friend of Chris’s, they’ve known each other since their time in the military. While Chris eventually left the army to fully pursue his passion for music alongside Nala, Éric took a very different path. He went from place to place, taking on odd jobs and trying out different experiences before finding his niche behind the bar—all without ever putting down his guitar.

Until that evening, their worlds had never crossed paths.

Madison knows Éric only from Chris's stories.

As for Éric, he already knows the name of Madison, the singer Chris often talks about with admiration.

Yet, when they finally meet, everything seems incredibly simple.

A conversation.
A few laughs.

Raven quietly watched the scene, amused to see two people who seemed destined to meet but had never had the chance to do so.

As the hours go by, Madison discovers that Éric is very different from the image she had imagined. Behind his reserved exterior lies a man who is deeply kind, thoughtful, and passionate about music.

Éric, for his part, discovers a young woman who is free-spirited, spontaneous, and much more sensitive than her rocker look would suggest.

At their feet, Joplin, Madison's faithful Bull Terrier, watches over them quietly, as if she has already accepted this new friend into their lives.

The characters

🎤 Madison

The lead singer of Chris's band, she's passionate about music, travel, and tattoos. Behind her rock-and-roll persona lies a sensitive, independent young woman who is deeply devoted to those she loves.

🍸 Éric

A friend of Chris's since their time in the military. An amateur musician and bar employee, he is still trying to find his path in life, but has never given up on his passion for music.

🖋️ Raven

A tattoo artist and friend of Éric's. It's thanks to her that Madison regularly stops by the Tattoo Design Studio… and that their paths eventually cross.

🎹 Chris

A pianist in the Madison band and a loyal friend of Éric's. Without really realizing it, he is the one who connects all the characters in this story.

🐶 Joplin

Madison's faithful Bull Terrier. Always by her side, she shares her daily life, rehearsals, and adventures. Her name is a tribute to Janis Joplin, one of rock's greatest icons.
