diorama 1/6 hot toys sideshow

Welcome to my blog, a space dedicated to the fascinating world of 1/6 dioramas.

Today I'm sharing my 1/6 diorama projects specially designed for Hot Toys and Sideshow figures.

Passionate about creating realistic scenes, here I share my projects, techniques, tips and inspirations for transforming collectible figurines into true works of art.

Why the 1/6 diorama?

The 1/6 format has become a benchmark in the world of collectible figurines. With incredible detail and the perfect scale for staging, these figures offer a multitude of possibilities for creating lively dioramas.

Whether iconic movie scenes, epic battles or historic moments, each diorama becomes a miniature window onto another world.

Techniques and tips

  1. Use of a variety of materials : To create realistic settings, I use a variety of materials, such as wood for the basic structure. Resin for glass and water effects, and fabrics for elements such as curtains and drapes. Each material brings a unique effect.

  1. Paint and ageing : Painting is crucial to achieve a realistic look. I use different techniques to give walls, furniture and accessories a worn, realistic look. Wear effects bring every scene to life.

  2. LED lighting : LED lights are essential for adding depth to a diorama. Whether simulating explosions, jet engines or simply illuminating the interior of buildings, lighting adds an extra dimension to the scene.

Through these creations, I seek to offer enthusiasts of figurines a new way of showcasing their collections, by immersing them in realistic, detailed settings. Here's a look at some of my most recent projects.

My 1st project: The Broken Wall for RoboCop

My very first project was made to order, a broken wall for the figurine. RoboCop from Hot Toys.

Inspired by one of the film's most iconic scenes. This diorama recreates the film's urban, dystopian atmosphere. L

he wall is realistically shattered, with scattered chunks of concrete and deep cracks. This scene allows the RoboCop figure to come to life as in one of the defining moments in cinema history.

Urban décor with a metal garage door

Then I created an urban diorama with a metal garage door. This set can be adapted to different universes, and can feature figurines from Marvel (like the Avengers), Batmanand many others.

The metal door is detailed, with rust effects and imperfections that add realism.

This setting is an excellent base for action scenes, superhero interventions or even confrontations between characters.

Urban décor with opening door and lighting

Another 1/6 diorama project I've completed features an urban setting with an opening door, equipped with an LED lighting system.

The floor lamp fixed above the door brings light to the scene. Creating the perfect ambience for low-light shots.

The floor is covered with miniature dead leaves, laid out in a gutter, with details such as a manhole cover and pipes adding to the realism of the whole.

This diorama can easily be integrated into a wide range of worlds, street scenes and other urban scenarios.

What's more, several accessories are available in my store to complement this décor. You'll find a variety of objects to enhance your scenes, such as crates, garbage cans, benches, and more. and much more besides.

Thematic Urban Decor - Street Basketball in Tribute to the Chicago Bulls

One of my most creative projects was an urban décor inspired by street basketball, a tribute to the Chicago Bulls.

This diorama includes : a real basketball hoop, with a tag on the wall, a bench and elements reminiscent of outdoor basketball courts.

This decor blends in perfectly with superhero figurines or even characters in an urban setting.

Graphics on the walls and set elements add a lively touch to the scene, and the sports element can be used for a variety of staging purposes.

The Black Star Corridor

I also created a 1/6 personalized diorama on the theme of Star Warsparticularly around the Black Star corridor.

An exciting project that allowed me to recreate the unique, imposing atmosphere of the galaxy's most formidable space station.

The most complex part was recreate this cold, metallic environment, characterized by futuristic panels, subdued lighting and dark tones.

Each diorama I create is a fusion of details, materials and creativity.

They are not just backdrops, but ways of telling a story.

Whether you're a Hot Toys, Sideshow or other avid collector, these dioramas are designed to bring out the full potential of every figure.

Feel free to explore my other creations and check out my store for additional accessories.

I hope my projects will inspire you and enrich your collecting experience.
