The Three Shadow Queens
The Three Shadow Queens The Three Queens

They never sought each other.
But their fates, lost in the world's silence, recognized one another.
Like three echoes of the same curse — or the same forgotten truth.

For a long time, their paths remained separate:
Layla, the first, had withdrawn into the heart of the stones, guardian of a temple erased by time.
Victoria slept beneath a tomb sealed with gold and dust, prisoner of an oath of oblivion.
And Noctéa, the last, wandered between worlds, guided by the whispers of the night.

None of them knew they were not alone.
Yet, beneath the cold vault of the Temple of Whispers, their steps finally crossed.
The torches flickered, the shattered stained glass let in a pale light — and in this sanctuary without gods, the silence felt alive.

Layla was the first to speak.
Her voice echoed like the memory of an oath.
Victoria, the awakened, raised her eyes to her: her pupils reflected the glow of an ancient fire, one that no death could extinguish.
And Noctéa, in the shadows, smiled. She recognized in them the fragments of the same brilliance.

They did not bow.
They did not fight.
They understood each other.

For each carried a part of the same essence:

Layla, the Petrified Truth.
Victoria, the Memory of Lost Worlds.
Noctéa, the Night that binds the two.

Then, in the middle of the ruined temple, they made an oath.
Neither submission nor domination — but a pact woven of shadow and clarity.

Let shadow never again be a symbol of weakness.
Let it become knowledge, refuge, and justice.
Let light cease to be a weapon to blind souls.

The wind rose, the flames straightened, and the stones whispered their names.
Thus was born the legend of the Three Shadow Queens,
sovereigns of what the world fears and what it no longer understands.

They say that since that night, when the moon is double and prayers are lost in the wind,
their silhouettes can still be glimpsed between the broken columns —
three forms watching over the fragile border between oblivion and truth.

Under the oath of the Three Queens, the temple found its breath again.

But in the foundations, where light no longer reaches, another presence waited.

Neither queen, nor priest, nor mortal.

A sealed memory.
A petrified promise.

And when the stone began to weep, the world remembered its name :
Alaric.
