Éric – Always searching for his place
Today, I want to introduce you to a new character who will gradually find his place in my world: Éric.
Éric is one of Chris's oldest friends. Their friendship goes back several years, when they did their military service together.
Back then, they already shared a common passion: music.
Yet, when their service ended, their paths took very different directions.
Chris chose to continue his career in the army while still playing music whenever he could. A few years later, when he decided to build his life with Nala, he eventually left the army to devote himself entirely to his passion and musical career.
Éric, on the other hand, never managed to find his way so easily.
After leaving the army, he preferred to follow his instincts rather than a well-defined career plan.
He traveled, had many experiences, and went from one odd job to another without ever really settling down anywhere.
Waiter, warehouse worker, salesperson, bartender... he tried many things without ever feeling like he had found his place.
Today, he works in a bar where he enjoys the atmosphere and freedom.
But his true passion remains music.
An amateur guitarist since forever, he spends his free time playing, composing, and dreaming of a different life, without ever having dared to take the first step.
Behind his calm and sometimes distant appearance, however, lies someone deeply loyal, always ready to help those he loves.
At nearly thirty, Éric is starting to wonder if it isn't time to build something more lasting.
But for that, he still lacks that little spark that can change a life.
Maybe it's not so far away...
