Mother of Butterflies & Guardian of the First Songs
In the Enchanted Forest, spring doesn't begin with the melting snow…
It begins when she opens her eyes.
The Spring Elf is one of the brightest creatures in the kingdom.
Her fair skin and gentle gaze seem made of soft light, like a morning still wet with dew.
Her movements are so delicate that even petals land on her without a sound.
She almost never speaks… but nature listens to her.
The language of birds
She has always communicated with birds.
Blackbirds, tits, and robins come to land directly on her fingers.
She listens to them as one listens to an old story you don't want to interrupt.
They reveal to her the paths of the wind, the first blooms, the still-secret nests.
It is the ancient language of winged beings, a gift that only the spirits of spring master.
Butterfly Companion
Butterflies, however, do not speak to her.
They dance for her.
They circle around her pink dress, land on her braided hair, vibrate with a light magic.
They recognize in her the Guardian of Metamorphoses:
the one who guides beings between what they are… and what they will become.
Each wingbeat creates an invisible spark that only the children of spring perceive.
They were born tiny, delicate, their pointed ears still soft, their eyelids trembling…And their backs already bore the mark of their heritage:
tiny translucent wings, first folded, then quivering.
They inherited a unique gift:
➡️ the ability to transform, at will, into a butterfly.
When they feel safe, loved, or excited, poof — their bodies dissolve into pink or blue light and reassemble into tiny glowing butterflies.
This power, they inherit from their mother… but amplified by the magic of spring.
Cocoons of petals & leaves
To protect her children, the Spring Elf created unique cradles:
in open roses like seashells, where the little one rests as a butterfly or a baby
with braided leaves, perfect for the little boy in a moss cap
red fly agarics that serve as temporary beds when the twins doze off while playing
hanging purple flowers, true magical hammocks
Each cocoon is alive:
it gently closes when the baby falls asleep and opens as soon as they stir a wing.
Thanks to this, the twins can rest, transform, disappear, and return at any time — always protected.
?✨ A Spring That Never EndsThe Spring Elf and her two children now form an inseparable trio.
We often see them together:
her, calm, sitting at the edge of a flower field…
and them, alternately sleeping babies or butterflies fluttering around her.
She does not direct the season.
She is spring.
