A Sunny Escape?
After months filled with daily routines, the kids, work, and responsibilities, Nala and Chris decided to give themselves something they hadn't experienced in a long time: time just for the two of them.
For Easter, they flew off to the islands, far from the noise and habits, to a little piece of paradise lulled by the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun.
From the moment they arrived, time seemed to slow down.
Under the wooden terrace open to the lagoon, they rediscovered the simplicity they love so much: sharing a meal facing the sea, laughing over a colorful cocktail, enjoying the silence without needing to speak.
Chris spent hours exploring the seabed, fascinated by the turquoise waters and the hidden reefs beneath the surface.
Meanwhile, Nala enjoyed the newfound calm.
Lying in the sun, a light breeze making the white curtains dance around her, she savored at last this luxury that had become rare: doing nothing.
No lists to finish, no toys to put away, no early wake-ups… only the sound of the water and the feeling of being able to breathe fully.
In the evening, they would meet again for a simple and warm dinner, with their feet almost in the sand, watching the sky slowly change colors above the ocean.
Those few days away from the world reminded them of something essential: before being parents, they were already two people who loved each other deeply.
And in that soft island light, between the sunsets and the reflections of the lagoon, they rediscovered that intact closeness that has always united them.
A pause out of time.
